Interior Design
2008 New York Residential Magazine - Top 10 Real Estate Projects
An interior design was developed for this pied-à-terre on Manhattan’s Upper East Side to reflect both the inherent elegance and architectural pedigree of the Art Deco building and the personality of the home’s owners. The floor plan was transformed both to provide an exceptional showcase for a museum-quality private art collection and to meet the expectations of modern living, with a children’s bedroom, study, and media room. Design details include re-created period plaster mouldings, basket-weave mosaics, antique limestone floors, custom doors and frames, and a limestone fireplace. The furniture and finish selection is a curated approach that combines French Deco, New York 1930s, Asian, and Modern influences to reflect the well-traveled and sophisticated personality of the owners.
