Originally built in the 19th century as a book bindery, CetraRuddy is restoring and adapting 443 Greenwich into 53 unique residences. Its design, inspired by original architectural details and the grand proportions of the existing structure, celebrates the original construction while introducing distinctive, crafted details that compliment modern materials to heighten its residential adaptation. The design also places an emphasis on natural light, further maximized through the large arched windows, double height spaces and views of the lushly landscaped courtyard. Working with the existing structure, residential units are playfully distributed to create individual and varying spaces within the 7+ stories of this building.
